I knew when I talked with Megan and Corey last summer that their wedding would be a blast. They were clearly such a fun couple and SO sweet! So I was thrilled when they booked me to be their photographer and I got to be a part of their gorgeous wedding on beautiful Gull Lake in Nisswa, Minnesota!

The weather was lovely; just enough cloud cover to keep it cool and comfortable with no rain showers! Quarterdeck Resort is such a pretty venue set right on Gull Lake with beautiful views and docks just perfect for lakeside photos; a photographer’s dream! The ceremony was on a scenic grassy knoll overlooking the water, and the reception was held in the boathouse with its beautiful nautical theming and plenty of room to dance and hang out on the patio by the fire pit! We planned to do some sparkler photos at the end of the evening, but before dark we got something even better – a RAINBOW over the lake at sunset! It was the perfect symbol to bless Megan and Corey’s marriage and wrap up the day in the best way.
