Katie and Landon are getting married! This was an incredibly fun session that absolutely flew by, and I could have gone on for hours! Despite their warnings that they are “not good” at posing, these two caught on to being in front of a camera immediately. They were so, so sweet and good natured. When I get super excited about how well photos are going, I often trip over my own words in eagerness while trying to direct my couples…but these guys picked up on what I was going for every single time and nailed it! I barely had to finish my sentences and they really went “Oh you mean like this? This perfect modeling?” If they were nervous at all they did not show it. They clearly just love interacting with one another and being together.

Katie is the younger sister of Andrea, whose family I have photographed over the past few years. And omg how I love all of these people! Truly some of the sweetest I’ve ever met. Katie and Landon met me on a chilly January day at the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park for photos ahead of rare winter storm in the south. Despite the cold and growing gloom, these two were truly glowing and made this a beautiful afternoon.
