Jenny + Josh / Alexandria MN Wedding

Jenny and Josh got married on a beautiful September day at Adler Ranch in Alexandria, Minnesota. It was a textbook perfect fall day – sunny, bright blue skies, warm but not humid, with a lovely breeze. I had the honor of meeting these two last fall for their engagement session, also at Adler Ranch. So, it was super fun to reconnect and celebrate the big day with them in the same place!

This was SUCH a sweet day! When I arrived, Josh was happily setting up decorations around the venue. The planner and I both remarked how impressive it was to see a groom so involved in the wedding day. His response was “Why wouldn’t I be?”. If you have any experience in the wedding industry, you know this is a rare attitude among many grooms. Josh was so sweetly involved in the tiny minutiae of the day that many grooms overlook; it was clear he knew it was important to Jenny and their day, so it was important to him. SO SWEET.

Jenny has two very sweet kids, Rae and Cullen, and a big focus of the day was how Josh promised to forever love them as his own. This was so obvious, as every time he talked about them he became emotional. It was very clear that this is already a beautiful, loving, connected family unit.

Jenny had the sweetest first look with her dad! He was so in awe of her. And a dad who notices and appreciates that her dress had pockets?! Girl dad right there.

The way these two looked at one another…this first look was pure love, excitement, and joy.

It was a huge honor to be a part of Josh and Jenny’s joyful day. They are so kind and sweet and it was abundantly clear that they are surrounded by love and support from family and friends. Cheers to Mr and Mrs Winslow!

A big thank you to all the vendors that helped make this day possible!
