Oh, January. Holiday decorations are put away, the house is clean, the hustle of the holidays settles back to a more normal pace….it allows for time to take a breath and reflect on the past year, and space to become re-invigorated for the upcoming year. Slowing down and looking back at the previous season always helps me to feel inspired and motivated for what could be for this year! Upon this reflection, I am always in awe at what amazing people I get to meet and work with. I am so very grateful for my 2022 clients.
Cold, misty rain and wind threatened Paige and Tanner’s big day in late September…but they decided to take the risk and continue with the plan for an outdoor ceremony at Thumper Pond Resort. Thank goodness they did, as it turned out to be lovely! We even had sneaks of sun during the ceremony, which was just beautiful.
Now that you’re engaged, its time to start PLANNING (after you’ve come back to earth from Cloud 9)! At the top of your to do list is probably choosing and booking your vendors and venue. Even if you have a pretty good vision of what you want your wedding day to look like, there are important logistical considerations to take into account that you might have never thought of. Heather and Andrew’s wedding was everything! It was gorgeous, relaxed, sweet, filled with love and beautiful emotion, with family at the center. The (now official!) So, you’ve booked your wedding photographer and it’s time for your engagement session…how exciting! But now what?
Fighting summer weather, rescheduling for storms and then again for fog, we finally ended up with a beautiful Minnesota summer day for Heather and Andrew’s two-part engagement session!
This was, hands down, one of the sweetest weddings I have had the honor of photographing. Delaney and Carter are absolutely adorable together, and their families are so beautifully kind and loving.
Paige and Tanner are getting married! I met these two at the Lake Carlos State Park for their spring engagement session and we had such a lovely evening! Paige and Tanner met through his mom’s business The Healthy Option in Glenwood and hit it off right away. It’s obvious to see why; they are so […]
Linsey and Thomas got married in a beautiful historic Catholic church on a sunny spring day! The church was especially meaningful, as FIVE generations of Linsey’s family have been married in this church! How special is that?! As a history buff, Linsey has kept track of the church’s past and her family involvement in it […]
We had to dodge a few showers for this early spring wedding, but Crooked Willow is such a creative and beautiful venue, so we had plenty of options both inside and outside during breaks in the rain! Alison and Cory were very chill and happy to go with the flow; it was clear they were […]
