This was such a special senior session! J.D. is the oldest son of one of my best friends in the entire world, and watching him and his younger brother grow up over the last 10 years has been amazing. This handsome kid has grown into such a thoughtful, smart, kind young man. Plus, he is a phenomenal baseball player with some great prospects ahead of him. I can’t wait to see what his future holds.

This was a beautiful, hot summer day, and it was one of my most favorite sessions of all time. We bopped around town, catching some of the variety that the Alex area has to offer, from the gorgeous nature at Carlos Creek Winery to the more urban aesthetic of downtown, to J.D’s baseball stomping grounds at Knute Nelson Memorial Field. Even better, I got to have my best friend there to keep me company, assist with lens changes, and generally just have fun with! (J.D., being a teenager, maybe didn’t love the part about his mom coming with as much as I did…but I think we all had a pretty good evening!)

It was an honor to be a part of this chapter of J.D.’s life, and I’m excited to see what comes next! Congratulations J.D., Class of 2022!
