Jessica and Danny’s wedding was a beautifully small and intimate gathering at a lovely private cabin on Sauk Lake. The day started out rainy and cold but cleared up to be a perfectly warm, sunny, breezy day! Everything about this celebration was simple, elegant, and purely focused on the gathering of close family and friends to celebrate the love of Jessica and Danny.

This cabin was the perfect site for an intimate wedding like this; they could not have picked a better spot! Secluded on a private wooded lot with a gorgeous view of the lake, there was lots of room for kids to play and adults to mingle and talk, play yard games, and enjoy a campfire. The details were so well thought out, with a goodie bag decorating station for the kids, a polaroid selfie station for the guest book, and well stocked and beautifully laid out snack and bar stations! I loved photographing these elegant, thoughtful, and fun details.

Jessica made my job so easy, she is so gorgeous and a natural in front of a camera! She was a simply stunning bride. Dan was an equally handsome groom who is so obviously in love with his bride, it was the sweetest thing to witness his expression every time he looked at Jessica. I didn’t get to meet these two until wedding day, but they were so friendly, lovely, and kind; I quickly came to know and love them!

Aside from the bride and the groom, the star of the show was Dexter, Jessica and Danny’s Chihuahua who served as an excellent escort down the aisle for Danny! He was hilariously vocal but a very well behaved and entertaining member of the wedding party! Talk about a food truck! Lily’s Mobile Restaurant was fantastic! The food was AMAZING and we even got to take a few photos inside in the diner-style back of the bus!
