Heather and Andrew’s wedding was everything! It was gorgeous, relaxed, sweet, filled with love and beautiful emotion, with family at the center. The (now official!) Broussard family traveled from Nebraska to get married at Bold North Cellars, which was originally part of family farmland, so besides being a stunning venue, it was an especially meaningful place to them.

Heather’s 9 year old Boxer, Brody was a star of the show, preceding her down the aisle and staying close to the family. Heather and I bonded over our love for Boxers at their engagement session. This spring I lost the love of my life Boxer, Tank, at 13 years old, so this really hit home for me. Brody was a perfect gentleman all day, and his and Heather’s bond is so beautiful. How gorgeous are these kids?! This family is clearly so incredibly close, it was just beautiful to witness.

The kids got emotional when Heather came down the aisle and it was the sweetest thing; there was not a dry eye in the place, mine included. The family simply folded in together and took some time together, focusing only on one another and not rushing anything. A beautiful testament to the priority of their family.

Heather’s gorgeous dress was rose gold! I love nontraditional colors for weddings, and this was absolutely perfect! It matched the rose gold of their rings!

A family that Jordans together, stays together. I think thats how that goes?! How cute is this! After the ceremony, the whole family donned their Jordan’s for photos. As they call themselves the Broussard Bees, they all had adorable little bees on their shoes! I love it!
