Oh what a happy post! Shannon has been one of my best friends for over 20 (twenty?!) years. We have seen each other through all kinds of seasons of life. And this is one of her best. She is truly glowing with love, peace, and fulfillment. It has been an honor to witness, and I know she has put in the work to get here. She has met formidable life hurdles and dealt with them with unbelievable grace. It has been an honor to be by her side as we’ve gone from awkward preteens to real Grown Ups. And now it is such a joy to witness her life with Nick and his daughter Caradee.

Shannon and I have seen each other through a number of partners, good and bad, over the decades. So when I met Nick and saw these two interact…I knew this was right. The way they look at one another is the SWEETEST thing!

We also took a day earlier in spring for some family photos and it was PRECIOUS! Caradee is just the cutest thing, and clearly so loved and supported by everyone around her. Just the sweetest family.
