Abbey + Sean / Chattanooga TN Engagement

Abbey and I met about 6 years ago working as nurses on a cardiac step-down unit. I learned so much from her; she was truly a role model nurse. We bonded through all things nursing: my first patient code, good and bad shifts, horrific and hilarious situations, and everything in between. Our professional paths have since parted when she went on to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, but we stayed in contact. I’ve been a fan of her and precious pup Mo since day 1, so I was super excited for her when Sean appeared on the scene!

I was beyond honored when Abbey asked me to be her wedding photographer! To say this girl is awesome is such an understatement. Her humor, wit, kindness, and humanity is just the best, and everyone who meets her loves her. So when she and Sean got engaged, I knew he must be equally as cool.

To be honest, Sean was really very not excited for formal photos, but he was such a trooper and put up with way more than he bargained for (and was really good at it too!). He is hilarious and constantly making Abbey laugh; I saw instantly how well they complement one another. Mo and Piper starred as the main models, and occasionally stepped off the stage for mom and dad to have the spotlight too.

We met up on at the trailhead of a small, unpopulated trail section on Lookout Mountain, and went to the spot where Sean proposed! (Gold Star, Sean!). It was so beautiful, and also just a few miles from where I grew up, so it was super cool to be back on my stomping grounds, and in a place so meaningful to these two! We hiked to a beautiful bluff spot, and although it was a hazy summer day, the views of the Tennessee Valley were just gorgeous.

I am so excited for Abbey and Sean’s wedding next year! With these two, it’s sure to be beautiful, sweet, and tons of fun. Keep scrolling for more of this adorable pair, their sweet, sweet pups, and a STUNNING ring!
